We are all at home and Lily is doing well...... Lily did a great job today (well after her happy juice). She went down OK but waking up was a bit different, I guess when kids wake up from surgery they can have some difficulty (temper wise). The surgery was 14 minutes, so it was a breeze. The piece of straw that was in there came out this past weekend but the doctor went in to see if there was anymore and also clean it all out. She has some stitches and some Dermabond which will dissolve in a few weeks.
As of right now Lily is sleeping away.................sweet little girl!

Glad Lily did great! I hope she continues to feel good. I am sure it was harder on you than on her... I would have been a mess.

Great news! She has been in our thoughts! Doesn't it suck when they wake up from surgery, they are very upset & it takes a while to calm them down! :( That is the hard part.... So happy she is doing well!
