Where does the time go???? Some days I don't know if I am coming or going.......life is too short, I need to slow down!

We have been very busy here at the Davenport's....

The girls are loving school, are the best of friends and make me smile ear to ear (well some days)!! Lily has 1 year left of preschool then off to kindergarten. That alone makes my eyes tear up! Addison just loves to follow her "sissy" around and copy everything she does...precious! Addison is just about potty trained ( I know-this should have been done a while ago but she had NO desire) and is in a toddler bed now and doing great with it!

Chris is busy as ever with work...I guess that is called job security these days. He is doing a lot of traveling and has been to some neat places! Hopefully I can join him if he continues to go to places I have never been.

I am busy with life.......working, kids, house, hubby and dog! But it is worth every minute!

We went on a cruise with the Hansen's- great time, lots of memories and many laughs! I think I need to take a vacation twice a year.

We are looking forward to some warmer weather so we can get out and play. As I write it is snowing here- WOW! School will probably be cancelled tomorrow!

Promise to do better and update more frequently!!!

Where have we been?!?!

I can't believe that summer is over already......I have to say I am excited for fall as that is my favorite time of year!

We had a great summer................we did lots! In August we went to MN for a week and had a great time! The girls had a blast and love being with Meme! It was so nice to see Scott, Kate, Stacy, Barry, Jenny and Chloe. Lots of memories were made and it was so enjoyable!

Lily and Addison both started preschool today- they were both so excited and had a great first day!

4th of July

We had a great weekend...... We started Saturday morning with a parade in our community, birthday party in the afternoon and little block party/fireworks in the evening. Fireworks are illegal here (nothing can leave the ground) so a few neighbors went to South Carolina and spent lots of $$ to get some illegal ones. It was fun! Chris was a little nervous since we haven't really had any rain hence the fire extinguisher. (How cute is he!!) Addison didn't see any fireworks she was in bed at 6:30 she was a little pooped out from the busy day. Lily loved the fireworks and thought all the purple ones were for her since that is her favorite color.

We had a great time at the beach!!! It was nice to relax, see family and make memories! The girls love playing in the sand, swimming in the pool and running all around with their cousins!

Bad bad blogger!!!

Where does the time go????? We have been so busy here at the Davenport household that some things have been neglected like the blog!!! Girls are great and summer right around the corner (not today it is 64 cold...burrrrr). Addison will be 2 next week, we have a few trips planned this summer and the girls are going to camp a few times as well. When we are home we will be at our pool soaking up the sun!
