I can't believe that summer is over already......I have to say I am excited for fall as that is my favorite time of year!

We had a great summer................we did lots! In August we went to MN for a week and had a great time! The girls had a blast and love being with Meme! It was so nice to see Scott, Kate, Stacy, Barry, Jenny and Chloe. Lots of memories were made and it was so enjoyable!

Lily and Addison both started preschool today- they were both so excited and had a great first day!

4th of July

We had a great weekend...... We started Saturday morning with a parade in our community, birthday party in the afternoon and little block party/fireworks in the evening. Fireworks are illegal here (nothing can leave the ground) so a few neighbors went to South Carolina and spent lots of $$ to get some illegal ones. It was fun! Chris was a little nervous since we haven't really had any rain hence the fire extinguisher. (How cute is he!!) Addison didn't see any fireworks she was in bed at 6:30 she was a little pooped out from the busy day. Lily loved the fireworks and thought all the purple ones were for her since that is her favorite color.

We had a great time at the beach!!! It was nice to relax, see family and make memories! The girls love playing in the sand, swimming in the pool and running all around with their cousins!

Where does the time go????? We have been so busy here at the Davenport household that some things have been neglected like the blog!!! Girls are great and summer right around the corner (not today it is 64 cold...burrrrr). Addison will be 2 next week, we have a few trips planned this summer and the girls are going to camp a few times as well. When we are home we will be at our pool soaking up the sun!

Bad blogger!!!! I have been terrible on updating my blog.......I just can't seem to find the time to do so. I wish there was 1 more day in the week and 4 more hours of sunlight everyday!

The girls are super busy and they are keeping us even busier! Lily is going to be starting soccer soon and both girls are going to go to a few weeks of camp this summer.

We are looking forward to this summer with a few vacations, swimming at the pool and just watching the girls play.

Today Lily had her Valentine's Day party at school so she was all decked out in hearts, red and pink. Lily wanted Addison to also wear a matching shirt so they could be alike. They are two peas in a pod- such love! Lily is growing up so fast... she now sleeps in big girls pants with no accidents, gets ready for bed all by herself and love to sit in her room and play her computer (thanks Tee Tee and Mo Mo) and read books. Addison is almost 2 -WOW time flies. She is such a character.... I see "Class Clown" in her! The apple doesn't fall far! She loves learning her ABC's from sissy and just hanging out playing together!
